West High 3rd, Regina 10th in Latest IHSBCA Rankings

West High dropped one spot to third in the latest Class 4A rankings released by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Rankings on Monday.

Johnston took over the top spot in Class 4A followed West Des Moines Dowling and West High.

West High was one of three Mississippi Valley Conference schools in the top 10 joining No. 7 Cedar Falls and No. 10 Cedar Rapids Prairie.

Regina remained tenth in the Class 2A rankings while River Valley Conference rival Wilton took over the top spot in 2A.

The RVC had three ranked 2A teams as Cascade is fifth.

Other top-ranked teams include Harland (3A) and Mason City Newman (1A).
