West High, City HIgh Move Up One Spot in Girls Basketball Rankings

West High and City High each climbed one spot in the latest Class 5A girls basketball rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Thursday.

City High (1-0) moved up one spot to third and West High (2-0) bumped up one spot to second.

Cedar Falls remained atop the Class 5A rankings.

Regina (1-1) dropped four spots to sixth in the Class 2A rankings.

North Linn remained number one in Class 2A as all five top-ranked teams held their spots.

Springville (1A), Sioux Center (3A) and Marion (4A) all stayed No. 1.
