City High, West High and Regina Open 2018 in Top 10 in Girls Basketball Rankings

City High and West High both held their spots in the first girls basketball rankings of 2018 released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Thursday.

City High stayed atop the Class 5A rankings while West High remained third in 5A.

Regina moved up one spot to ninth in Class 2A.

The five top-ranked teams went unchanged as Springville (1A), North Linn (2A), Sioux Center (3A) and Marion (4A) all stayed at No. 1.
