Regina Rises to No. 3 In Class 1A Girls Cross Country Rankings

Regina moved up one spot to third in the Class 1A girls cross country rankings released on Monday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The No. 3 ranking is the highest of the season for the Regals which debuted at No. 9 in the preseason rankings and were ranked fourth in each of the previous two rankings.

Solon also recorded its highest ranking of the season, climbing four spots to sixth in Class 3A.

In Class 4A West High is No. 10, Liberty High is No. 12 and City High is No. 14.

Top-ranked teams are Johnston (4A), Dubuque Wahlert (3A), Mid-Prairie (2A) and Logan-Magnolia (1A).
