The Clear Creek Amana boys cross country team climbed two spots to second in the most recent Class 3A rankings released by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches on Tuesday.
The No. 2 rankings equals the highest of the season for Clear Creek Amana which has won each of its previous three meets.
Defending champion Gilbert remained atop the 3A rankings for the fifth consecutive week.
West High dropped one spot to eighth in the Class 4A rankings.
Other top-ranked teams this week include West Des Moines Dowling (4A), Sioux Center (2A) and Madrid (1A).
