Liberty High Returns to Class 4A Girls Cross Country Rankings

After a two-week break Liberty High is back in the Class 4A cross country rankings.

Liberty High returned to the 4A rankings for the first time since Sept. 11 on Tuesday appearing at No. 14 in the girls cross country rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The Lightning are joined in the 4A rankings by West High which dropped one spot to sixth and City High which is down two spots to No. 12 in Tuesday’s rankings.

Solon dropped three spots to No. 11 in the Class 3A rankings while Regina remained third in the Class 1A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week include Johnston (4A), Dubuque Wahlert (3A), Williamsburg (2A) and Logan-Magnolia (1A).
