Regina Climbs to No. 2 in Class 1A Cross Country Rankings

With the postseason approaching the Regina girls cross country team continues to climb the Class 1A rankings.

Regina climbed another spot to second in the latest 1A rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Logan-Magnolia remained atop the 1A rankings while Regina surpassed Lansing Kee for the second spot.

West High slipped six spots to No. 12 and City High dropped out of the 4A rankings.

In Class 3A Solon slid one spot from No. 11 to No. 12.

Other top-ranked teams include Johnston in Class 4A, Dubuque Wahlert in Class 3A and Mid-Prairie in Class 2A.
