West High Slips One Spot in AP Boys Basketball Poll

West High dropped one spot in the latest Associated Press boys basketball poll released on Monday.

The Trojans are 8-2 following a loss to Cedar Falls on Friday and slid from fourth to fifth in the latest rankings trailing top-ranked Waukee, North Scott, Sioux City East and Bettendorf in the Class 4A top five.

Regina and West Branch are both receiving votes in the Class 2A poll.

Other top-ranked teams include Maquoketa (3A), North Linn (2A) and Grand View Christian (1A).
