Regina Climbs One Spot in Final Softball Rankings

Regina climbed one spot in the final softball rankings released on Monday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The defending state runner-up Regina (18-17) moved up to seventh in the final Class 2A rankings behind fifth-ranked East Marshall and No. 7 Pleasantville.

Solon (21-15) dropped two spots to No. 11 in Class 3A while City High dropped one spot to sixth in Class 5A.

Top-ranked teams include Davenport Assumption Waukee (5A), Carlisle (4A), (3A), North Linn (2A) and Collins-Maxwell (1A).
