Clear Creek Amana Returns to No. 1 in Cross Country Rankings

For the first time since the first rankings of the season Clear Creek Amana is back on top of the Class 3A cross country rankings.

Clear Creek Amana rose two spots to No. 1 in the most recent Class 3A rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches replacing Carlisle as the top-ranked team.

Carlisle dropped to No. 2 followed by Norwalk, Gilbert and Dallas Center-Grimes.

In Class 4A West High climbed one spot to eighth.

Other top-ranked teams include Dubuque Hempstead (4A), Tipton (2A) and Earlham (1A).
