Regina needed 100 minutes of play and seven attempts in a penalty kick shootout to shake Waterloo Columbus on Tuesday.

There was no such drama in the Regals home opener on Thursday.

Top-ranked Regina remained undefeated with a 9-0 win over Davenport West in its first game at Regal Field.

Four different Regals scored goals as Class 1A No. 1 Regina rolled to its third consecutive win to open the season.

Nick Pechous scored four goals and added an assist and Nate Green added three goals to lead the Regina attack.

Tony Huang and Mason Welter each added a goal and Welter had two assists in the win.

Joshua Suedkamp and Anthony Knepper each had one assist for Regina.

Davenport West dropped to 4-5 with the loss.
