Annie Gahan and Nola Murhammer each won individual titles to pace Regina at the Cedar Rapids Xavier Co-Ed Invite on Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.

Murhammer won the discus with a toss of 95-0 while Gahan won the 400 hurdles in 1:10.56 to help Regina to a seventh-place finish with 37 points.

Cedar Rapids Prairie won the team title with 148 points followed by Cedar Rapids Kennedy with 136 and Waterloo West with 88.

Liberty High Ninth at Anamosa Invite

Liberty High picked up 38.5 points to place ninth at the Anamosa Co-Ed Invitational on Tuesday in Anamosa.

Mount Vernon won the team title with 139.5 points while Anamosa was second with 120 followed by Mid-Prairie with 106.

Ryan Sartain placed fourth in the 110 hurdles in 17.19 and Kolby Godbolt was fifth in the 100 in 12.39 to pace the Lightning.

City High Places Fifth, Regina Sixth at CR Xavier Invite

Ry Threlkeld-Wiegand won the 1,600 and Davonte Foster was second in both the 100 and 200 to lead City High to a fifth-place finish at the Cedar Rapids Xavier Co-Ed Invite on Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.

Ottumwa won the team title with 147.6 points followed by Cedar Rapids Kennedy with 124 and Cedar Rapids Xavier with 98.

City High finished fifth with 71.2 while Regina was sixth with 53 points.

Threlkeld-Wiegand won the 1,600 in 4:40.14 while Foster was runner-up in both the 100 (11.77) and 200 (23.72).

Nathan Meyer won the 3,200 in 10:22.18 to pace Regina while Jayden Kies was third in the 100 in 12.06.

Luke Stein was third in the shot put (52-2) and fourth in the discus (140-2) for Regina.
