Boys Basketball Roundup: Lukavsky Leads West Branch Past Tipton

West Branch overcame a three-point halftime deficit to knock off Tipton 75-68 on Monday in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in West Branch.

Brady Lukavsky buried six 30-pointers on his way to a game-high 29 points and added five steals as West Branch improved to 12-3 on the season and 12-2 in RVC play.

Beau Cornwell had 17 points and Ted Brides added 15 points for West Branch as the Bears shot 54 percent from the floor.

Cornwell had six rebounds and four steals and Bridges and Jeff Bowie each grabbed five rebounds for West Branch.

Zach Thompson led West Branch with five assists.

Tipton dropped to 7-7 on the season and 6-7 in RVC play with its third consecutive loss.
